  Susie is exceptionally talented; this is clearly a calling, not just a profession for her, and she is a healer as well as an esthetician. The experience is unlike your regular facial, of which I have had many -- it's holistic *but also* very effective, a rare combo. Susie uses her deep knowledge of herbal remedies, oils, plants, health, and wellness to work on your skin as it relates to your general state of being. She is also a great, gentle, intuitive presence in the space, and integrates so much soothing massage into the treatment! She never leaves your side and is super connected and in the flow with what she's doing, such a treat in this otherwise busy and distracted world. Highly recommend this lovely practitioner to anyone in the area.

  If you’re looking for a facial in the area, do yourself a favor and go see Susie. In the last few months, I’ve started seeing Susie semi-regularly when my skin needs a boost. She brings a tailored approach to working with her clients, does a thorough and holistic intake to understand your needs, and then delivers an excellent experience with high quality, all natural products. She’s also really knowledgeable and happy to share that knowledge to help address the deeper issues that can sometimes show up on the skin.
  
  I’ve left my sessions feeling cared for and deeply relaxed, and my skin feels nourished and looks great - highly recommend!

  Susie is such a calm, caring, and talented esthetician. I was Susie’s client for several years and always left my appointments relaxed and satisfied with her work. Susie is a very dedicated skin care professional and always made me feel so comfortable in the studio. I can’t recommend her enough!

  I have rarely gone to get my eye brows and lip waxed before because I had to travel far and the experience was always fast and not comfortable. Then I went to Susie at Synchronicity herbal skin care and waxing at River Family Wellness. Susie makes sure you are comfortable, really attentive and does a great job. Now I go pretty much once a month and I feel pampered!

  What an incredible experience! Susie is thoughtful in her approach; during the initial appointment, she started with a consultation about my skin type, woes, habits, and preferences - she was mindful of concerns and left me with more than a handful of ideas for improvements to my routines after the facial. In the sessions that have followed, I feel heard and feel more confident in the adaptations to my routines. I love that there aren't a menu of options, but rather an organic approach that is custom to YOU. Each time, you get an experience that is unique to your face, to your skin. It's incredible and I tell everyone I know about Susie whenever I can!
