The residents get excellent care, the meals are top notch offering meals from 7am-7pm, and the staff get 10 stars. My husband and I are thrilled to have decided to choose them to care for his father. You can't get any better than Suffield by the River!

Our dad transitioned from the assisted living side of Suffield by the River to their memory care unit, Reflections, about a year ago. Tanya Nadeau, the Director of Reflections, is PHENOMENAL!!!
She is compassionate...she knows her residents. She puts 100٪ ± into her role.
Our dad constantly loses his glasses. She goes out of her way to look and find his glasses. She ALWAYS finds them.
When dad needs supplies, she contacts us so we know to buy stuff for dad.
Tanya is the best. She is a caring professional who keeps the resident's loved ones informed and demonstrates that she genuinely cares about her residents. She is truly an asset to Reflections and Suffield by the River. We would be lost without her!!! -

(April 19, 2023, 3:24 pm)I had the most wonderful visit at Suffield by the River. All of the associates were very nice. The lunch was wonderful. As soon as you walked in it felt like home. When I am ready for my next steps, this is the place I am going. Would highly recommend visiting even if your not ready for your next steps.

(April 6, 2023, 4:33 pm)My mother has been at Suffield by the River for 2 years now. One year in an assisted living apartment and now one year in Reflections memory care. She made the transition with no problems. The staff is so very helpful and caring. Tanya the Reflection director is beyond knowledgeable and helpful to your needs or resident. The facility itself is beautiful, it’s in a quiet area. My mom has many CNA’S that look after her. I applaud them all for their dedication and hard work.

(April 6, 2023, 3:16 pm)We were saddened when our family member was diagnosed with dementia and needed more specialized care than we could give her at home. The staff at Suffield by the River and Reflections memory care made the transition much easier for us. From the friendly front desk staff to the skilled health care staff we have been very happy with the care and attention she has received. Their administrators are always available to answer questions and respond quickly. The food is excellent and all activities are geared to help those who need memory care. We can rest easy knowing she is getting the best care.

(July 14, 2021, 3:24 pm)My father has been a resident of Suffield by the River for 6 years. We found the transition to LCB to be smooth, informative and incredibly resident and family focused. Christie and all of the staff led us through the pandemic with great care and protection of the residents. Most importantly, the staff has always been available for impromptu family meetings to discuss my fathers care. We are always greeted with smiles and warm welcome on each visit. It’s evident that all the employees at Suffield by the River demonstrate a willingness to truly care for the residents well being.
