  I know Master Kim for at least two decades. He is a hardened martial artist. His abilities to demonstrate martial art techniques and to teach them is exemplary. Training for so many years together I was able to witness his abilities in sparring and form and application techniques. Master Kim is also well versed in tailoring his teaching appropriate to his students. He is very patient, particularly with children. His approach to teaching is pleasant and peaceful. I would highly recommend anyone to join his studio where you will learn the martial art the way is meant to be.

History & Philosophy — STUDIO MOODO Martial Arts & Wellness

History. Hwang Kee (November 9, 1914 - July 14, 2002) was one of the most important and influential figures in the Korean martial arts. He was one of the five original Founders to open solely Korean Martial Arts Kwans (schools). In 1945, Grandmaster Hwang Kee formed his first school, Moo Duk Kwan (the School of Martial Virtue).
