(June 27, 2023, 7:03 am)Amazing experience for my 3rd grade class. This is my 6th time at the mine. We always enjoy it. Awesome staff, super friendly and knowledgeable. My students love it almost as much as I do!! Great gift shop, lunch in the pavilion is great and the tour is always a crowd pleaser.

(May 3, 2023, 8:40 pm)This is a fantastic place to visit. Take the mine tour and you'll be amazed by the history and science of mining. Along with one of the most varied fluorescent minerals in the world, all in one place. Museum is small but contains a lot. Make sure you wear something to keep you warm when you're in the mind. It's always 55-56° year-round.

There is a small stone museum that is very interesting.
The temperature umis always about 57F and it is wet. The tour takes 2 hours and the guides are great. -
