Nice and calm!
I just want to say how pleased I am about our success at the dentist today! My daughter Lily has had issues with a couple of her teeth since they came in and has needed to see her dentist every few months for a couple years. Unfortunately she also became absolutely petrified of her dentist. We tried another pediatric dentist and were even less successful. They’d never been able to do a cleaning or a real evaluation because she’d been so terrified. It’s been a source of continued parental guilt and anxiety.
Anyways, while we were on vacation, an old chip in my tooth fell out and I needed to have it repaired. When I scheduled the repair with Dr. Moraski’s office, who I’d been seeing for years, I asked if I could bring Lily so she could see my dental work to see it didn’t have to be scary. Thankfully they were on board. She did well, and I scheduled a routine cleaning for me the following week. She came with me again and came out of her shell even more. My hygienist (Becky, bless her!) asked Lily if she wanted to get her teeth cleaned after mommy and she excitedly said “yes!”
She did GREAT!!!! I’m so thankful they gave her the time she needed to be ok with it. I can’t fully express how much of a weight off my mind this is!! I highly recommend Dr. Moraski in Torrington. This isn’t even the first (or second!) example of how this office is family centered and works with their clients to meet them where they are. My family will forever continue with this practice 🥰
This man is a very talented and kind angel! My tooth broke off and he was able to fix it within a couple hours and set me up on a payment plan and I’m not even that consistent of a patient...and my teeth are beautiful!
