  I feel like this will probably be the most important review I write on Google. Because I relied on the reviews before me to make an incredibly difficult choice to place my mom on hospice care in a very short amount of time and very unexpectedly. This hospice house was the most loving decision I could have made for my mom, and even myself. Many people don’t understand the role hospice plays during the dying process of a loved one. They are there for not only the patient but also the family as well. From the minute my mom arrived to her last moments on Earth they took care of her like I wish I could have. She was as comfortable as possible and very well cared for. They dress patients in pajamas and not hospital gowns. They make the rooms so they aren’t cold and unwelcoming like most hospital rooms are. They have beautiful amenities for guests and families who would like to stay with their loved one during their stay at SLHN hospice. It is extremely clean and a peaceful atmosphere. Something that was expected but very appreciated was my mom’s prayer shawl that was provided to her , and was given to me. It is something I will cherish. The nurses and social workers are beyond supportive. In fact the social workers there provide an abundance of support while your loved one is there and even after they are gone. I cannot say enough positive things about this facility. I am going to be forever grateful to them.

  We brought my brother-in-law in this past Tuesday and I can’t say enough beautiful things about this facility. My husband and I were able to stay with his daughter at the facility from Tuesday until he passed on Friday. We are so thankful for the staff and everything that they did for, our family. They are truly caring and offer so much to the family members to make sure they are cared for as well. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did to keep my brother-in-law comfortable until he decided he was ready to go home. Forever grateful for this facility.

  Such a wonderful place full of caring people. Made my loved one's last days pain free and special. The staff goes above and beyond to provide loving care. The Chaplain, Jim was a Godsend. I can't say enough about this place.

  This place was truly a godsend when my grandfather passed. The nurses, social workers and support staff were professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. They guided my grandfather and our family through a hard and confusing time. The facilities were clean, up to date and comfortable. The hospice itself was designed in a way that facilitated both the patients and their families.

  My father had pasted away here in this beautiful place on April 1, 2021. My family and I spent the last two weeks of my fathers life here. I can truly say that my father was at peace, he was comfortable, and most importantly well taken care of by the wonderful staff! We spent the most memorable time with my father in his lasts weeks of life here. The staff was very helpful and compassionate, they care about their patients and their families. If you have a loved one that needs this end of life care, I recommend it 100%. Thank you from the Gildner & the Rodriguez Family
