(July 22, 2023, 5:57 pm)I am glad to get my home nearby this temple. Very calm and peaceful place for praying god! Like any other Indian temples they organize the temple and activities very well. It has decent parking lot, could get crowded on festivals.

(June 3, 2023, 8:31 pm)A beautiful Hindu temple and also we can worship many hindu deities here. Good spacious parking available here. It has restrooms, shoe and coat storing place, and the prasadham (holy food) distributing place in the first floor. The temple is in the second floor. Recently kumbhabishekam took place on auspicious days. It was so nice to participate in the homam. Thank you temple organization 🙏

(March 19, 2023, 10:17 am)Priest Pradeep Acharya performed a pooja at my residence; he was quite calm, positive and he explained the importance of each phase of the pooja. He did the pooja in a more peaceful and fullest satisfaction. Strongly suggest him for all other puja services, as he is knowledgeable and skilled.

(January 15, 2023, 4:14 pm)We recently had our Hindu wedding at Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Temple. This is a beautiful, peaceful, well-maintained, and probably the biggest Hindu temple I have been to in North America and I've been in NA since 2014. I live in Seattle and I had never been to CT and was forunate enough to connect with the priest, Venugopal Devdhar, from the temple. I am Indian and my wife is American and so it was extremely important to me that she and her family have a great experience with the Hindu wedding. Pandit Devdhar was excellent to work with. He took care of everything right from setting up the beautiful mandap, organizing caterers, after event cleanup, and of course, officiate the wedding. He kept everyone at ease through his humor and explained the rituals to my in-laws in English as we progressed. He was polite and accommodated all requests from my parents as well, who were visiting from India. Everyone involved, including the guests had a great time at the wedding. I am grateful to Pandit Devdhar and entire staff of Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Temple for giving us this wonderful experience on the most important day of our life. Lastly, the food from the nearby Udupi Bhavan was delicious for both the Indian and American guests!
