  We had a fabulous time! Andrew was great…responsive, helpful and gracious! The beds were incredible! My partner and I were on a working vacation and it was perfect! Thanks for everything!!!

  We just completed a 2-night stay at the Inn. My impression is it is newly opened. I would like to first comment about the service. We needed little. I never met the innkeeper, but I called with questions twice and immediately got answers. They are more like an Airbnb than a Hilton hotel, and that's OK. As for location, in some ways, they are far from anything. 10 minutes from the nearest diner or market. But in another respect, they are in the middle of the beautiful Berkshires and all that has to offer. We found the Inn looking for a place to stay near Tanglewood. Where we were attending their annual 4th of July concert. Including fighting thousands of departing parked cars, we were back at the Inn in under 20 minutes. Now a few comments about the rooms. I guessing the Inn was designed and built by the owner. What I like about them is that he spent his money on important areas for the guest. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, with four king-sized comfy pillows. A nice-sized bath finished with a beautifully tiled shower with ample hot water and a luxurious shower head. The kitchen had everything you need and nothing you don't. It also had two wide-screen TVs, one we never turned on. ( remember to bring your user names and passwords for streaming services) I was left with the feeling I was supporting an individual, not a corporation. I sincerely hope they are successful and their dreams are realized.

  We were so grateful to Spencertown Inn for accommodating us quickly. We were driving to Vermont and got stuck in a snow storm. But gave the Inn a call and they were able to take us in with very little notice.
  Andrew and his family were there to welcome us and helped us park safely in the snow storm. They took us up to our room and helped us set up the fold out couch in our suite.
  We stayed in suite 4.
  I was struck by the attention to detail. You can tell that a lot of thought went into the space to help folks feel at home. For example, the books in the room offered a wide selection, including poetry, travel, art, fiction and nonfiction. And there are some board games in the room, which we enjoyed.
  The shower-tub combo has an excellent shower head with good pressure. The towels are great quality and the space is very neat, clean and tidy. It’s a more modern looking space with modern finishings, but there are some more antique looking furnishings and lovely art throughout the property. Next to the king bed, there are reading lights on each side that you can turn off in bed—a very nice touch! There is a wall partition to separate the king size bed from the pull out couch. Would be a great option for families to have a little privacy, but still be close by for kids.
  The kitchenette and balcony are nice extras to have when traveling. There is a Keurig coffee maker in the room. We’d suggest adding some tea options too.
  I’d definitely recommend staying here and hope to return. It’s a quick trip up from NYC if you need an escape!

  Stayed here for the first time but will definitely go back whenever I need stay near. Room was huge, clean and comfortable. So much better than a hotel! Owners are extremely nice and accommodating. Will definitely be returning.
