  Had a great experince with recovery from a broken elbow at Spear Dobbs Ferry. Working mainly with Ryan I started off with very limited mobility and not fully understanding how much I needed therapy. I was quickly able to regain functionality and get to a place where I could use the arm.
  
  Ryan tailored a treatment plan to accelerate my recovery and restore my arm to full mobility and increased strength and significantly faster then I expected. Setting my expectations to reasonable levels at first as well as pushing as necessary through the roadblocks. Working with Ryan, Jason and Liz I was able to get my arm fully straight for the first time within 4 months (the surgeon had originally set my expectations of four to six months).
  
  This locations is within a gym which provides a unique experince as it led to an increased variety of exercises that helped with regaining my strength. The exercises were challenging but effective, and I felt supported and encouraged throughout the process. Scheduling was flexible and easy. I noticed a significant improvement in my pain, mobility and function after just a few sessions though it was still a journey to where I was stronger more mobile and it hurt less.
  
  I would highly recommend to anyone looking for quality physical therapy services

  The team at Spear (Ryan, Jason and Kyle) helped me overcome a particularly bad and reoccurring lower back injury. They personally tailored my therapy to get me back to the activities I love: basketball, snowboarding, mountain biking, and powerlifting. I am happy to say that I have returned to all of these activities just a couple months after barely being able to walk into the facility due to severe lower back pain. Another hidden benefit is that Spear shares a floor with the NYSC gym so they have access to all its equipment should your treatment call for it. This ended up being the perfect fit for someone like me who was looking to return to sports and high impact activity. Would highly recommend.

  Ryan and Jason are incredible. It is my first time going to PT for a debilitating injury, and I must say, I feel almost 100%. I recommend Spears at Dobbs Ferry to anyone regardless of the joint pain you're experiencing. They're very professional and knowledgeable. Plus, they are located at a convenient location with parking!

  After surgery on my knees and residual pain, I finally went for physical therapy at Spear in Dobbs Ferry. I met with Ryan Grunseich who did a thorough intake and was informative, caring, and so knowledgeable. I also met and worked with Jason and Kyle, who continued what Ryan had done with me. The physical therapy at Spear is on another level from prior places I went to. The professionals there led by Ryan are superb! \

  Terrific experience at Spear Dobbs Ferry! Both therapists have doctorates and are highly intelligent and skilled. Jason Schwartz, who treated me, is a talented diagnostician who immediately discerned the cause of my shoulder pain. His approach was attentive, thoughtful, courteous, friendly and warm and his treatment was extremely effective. He gave me excellent exercises and techniques for avoiding my shoulder issue in the future. This is where I will go if I ever need help again. I recommend these guys to anyone needing physical therapy. This is a very safe space. The location is right off NY-9A - so easy to get to.
