(January 2, 2023, 1:56 pm)Sarah has been doing my hair color and cut for nearly 15 years and has done an amazing job with all of the changes I've done over the years so I highly recommend her for your day-to-day stylist - but this review is focused on my wedding! Sarah and Jess were our hair stylists for my wedding in Lake Placid, NY. We had a group of 12 women that ranged from ages 25-85 and Sarah and Jess made every woman feel absolutely stunning and comfortable despite having only met 4 of us in person prior to the wedding! I already knew Sarah was an expert and all around an amazing person, but the way she brought my vision to life on my wedding was unreal. She was so easy to work with during the planning process, offered advice and suggestions with what she felt would look best, and was willing to try several different looks during the trial without hesitation. Not to mention, they traveled about 6 hours up to Lake Placid in winter (-20 degree temps!) and made our morning that much more relaxing and fun. I cannot recommend Sarah and the South of Main Hair Studio for your routine stylist or wedding service needs! They truly are amazing!

It was my first time going there and I felt she really understood my hair and the way it lays. She did an awesome cut, exactly what I wanted. She was also able to recommend some great products to help me style my hair. The hair washer Sarah was also great and she gave a little head massage while conditioning my hair. Reception was also very nice! I also got a little 'client giveaway' gift bag of Amika products. I will definitely continue to come here, they take great care of their clients!
