  I chose Something You for their attention and dedication to keeping brides feeling and looking like themselves. I typically do not wear a lot of make up on a daily basis and did not want to change my entire look for the day of my wedding. I went for a preview of my hair and make up prior to my wedding and left feeling okay about it. Literally the next day Something You reached out to see how my preview had went, I communicated that after some contemplation there were quite a few changes I wanted to make. It was received with no issues, the artists with communicated for me on my behalf. The day of the wedding I was slightly apprehensive because I knew I wanted to change quite a few things. I cannot stress enough how wonderful my experience was. My makeup artist was Jen, we went over my preview look, what I wanted to change and what I was hoping to look like. Jen was SO patient with me, stopping at different steps to allow me to look at how I looked and if it was meeting what I wanted. In the end I felt like myself, felt beautiful, confident and I kid you not... the makeup stayed exactly intact the entirety of the day. I started around noon and arrived back to my hotel room at 1:30 AM... I looked in the mirror and I looked the exact same as I did when I left for my wedding. This was after being outdoors in the warm for a couple hours, and dancing. My hair was also something I wanted to change from my preview and Melissa was very receptive away and SO kind. She showed me examples of other brides she had done to compare if that was what I wanted. She was so patient and kind as well. She also Macgyvered a small piece of my hair to hold my very long veil without fear of it tugging or moving. She hid it perfectly, you did not notice it at all, and you bet my veil stayed in place for all the photos and ceremony. My bridesmaids, mother, SIL and MOL had their hair + make up done and were all VERY happy as well. I really could not have asked for a nicer, or better group on my wedding day.

  We used Something You for my 6/10/23 wedding, and we loved Heather, Dianna, and Myra and the whole team!! Not only did they ensure everyone looked beautiful, but they were flexible, prepared, and so fun to spend the day with!!! They listened to everyone’s preferences, guided us when we were unsure, and even finished ahead of schedule despite some of our bridesmaids running behind. Heather did my hair and makeup, and it was absolutely beautiful — she made sure I still felt like myself, but in such an elevated and special way. I did a hair trial with Heather 4 months before the wedding, and she still remembered what I loved/wanted to change and took time to chat through those with me before beginning to work. I didn’t do a makeup trial ahead of time, but Heather absolutely nailed my makeup day-of and was sure to ask me about things I liked and what to avoid, and it was perfect. Everyone’s hair and makeup looked perfect all day! Ahead of time, the Something You team was so easy and enjoyable to work with. They reached out regularly to touch base and share important information, answered all of my many questions, accommodated lots of location changes/additions to our hair and makeup group, and worked seamlessly with our other vendors to pull together a timeline. We were in such good hands with this team! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!

  If there are any brides-to-be looking for an exceptional colorist and hairstylist, Allison is your girl! She did such a phenomenal job on my hair!
  I like to have a nice, dimensional blonde and she absolutely nailed it. Book your appointment ASAP, because her book is filling up fast!
  Also, while you’re there, grab a spray tan and brow services with Leah—she is the best!!

  I used something you for my hair/makeup services for the wedding day. Leading up to the wedding, communication was good whenever I had a question. One thing that is offered is that they put the schedule together for you. I didn't not find this especially helpful, however, as I needed certain people in certain slots due to travel needs. When I was asked to provide any requests with timeline, I did but they were not changed until a second request was made. For me, it would have been helpful to have the time slots needed for each service and just plug them in myself. They really lay everything out for you, which is nice. I had an overall good experience with them, but there were a few stressful moments on the day of the wedding. Melissa did an amazing job on hair for everyone and was so nice to work with! The original makeup artist who was supposed to come got sick and they ended up sending a replacement, but there was no communication regarding this to me other than when Melissa mentioned it as the other stylist was not there. I am very grateful that Myra was sent, but she was unable to come until an hour after our designated start time due to their childcare needs (no fault of her own). Thankfully, we only ran 30 minutes behind schedule due to this. Originally, I had been told we would have airbrush makeup as part of our service. Unfortunately, in the rush of the morning Myra, who was sent to replace our original person, forgot her airbrush equipment. Myra did an amazing job with the materials she had, however, and did a great job with bridal look and the looks of my bridal party. I understand there were extenuating circumstances at hand, so thank you again to Myra for stepping up and coming to our rescue.

  A huge thank you to the Something You Onsite team for being apart of my wedding day! I was fortunate enough to work with Hayley who did my hair and makeup. When I first met her for my trial, I told her exactly what look I was going for and she executed it perfectly! For my wedding we got to work with Hayley, Gina, and Heather who were all amazing! The morning of, I was nervous that we were going to be behind schedule since we were running a few minutes late but the girls were completely understanding and even got us back up to speed within an hour! I was surprised how quickly they were able to do my bridal parties hair and makeup! It was like a well oiled machine how smooth things went. When it was my turn to get into the chair, Hayley remembered all the little details from my trial. One big thing I stressed was that I still wanted to look like myself. Once I was done, I couldn't stop looking at myself. I not only looked beautiful but I felt beautiful and so confident. I couldn't stop smiling! I couldn't wait to put on my dress to complete the entire look! Hayley was so much fun to work with and she did such an amazing job! My bridal party all loved their hair and makeup and even through the humidity, photos, ceremony, reception and dancing everyone's hair and makeup didn't budge! A huge thank you to Hayley, Gina and Heather for helping us get ready and working your magic! Also a huge thank you to Allison for being my main point of contact through the planning process! If you are in need of hair and makeup services for your wedding, I would highly recommend working with Something You Onsite you won't regret it!
