  Shamila has given me tools to assist in managing my anxiety and depression, truly listens to me in our sessions (and gives me feedback even if it's something I don't want to hear), and helps me navigate tough situations.

  Shamila is an excellent counselor. Very patient, understanding, kind and really devoted to her patients mental health. One of the first things I was looking for in a therapists was someone who could really relate to my diasporic background, but was hesitant because South Asians can be conservative and judgemental and that's a lot of the reason my mental health was deteriorating. However, Shamila has never made me uncomfortable in any circumstance & I began to trust her very quickly. If you're looking for a really compassionate counselor who really works to see you improve, Shamila is the right choice.
