This is a classic example of how classy of an area this is with the lawn being very well maintained year round. As a photographer, I appreciate this refreshing scenery and their attention to detail!

(February 7, 2023, 7:30 pm)I stayed here around the holidays, and it was so beautifully decorated. The house is beautiful, the rooms are all very nicely put together. The three-course breakfasts are quite good and the hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

(September 22, 2022, 2:51 pm)My husband and I stayed at the Silas W Robbins House back in August. I can't say enough great things about the place and the innkeepers. I'm a bit crazy about cleanliness and when I tell you this place is immaculate, I mean it! I felt comfortable walking around in bare feet which is unheard of for me. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was updated and immaculate. Breakfast each morning was HUGE and fresh. Didn't need to eat until dinner :) It's located within walking distance of everything in Old Wethersfield. We will definitely be returning!

(July 21, 2022, 6:13 pm)I generally avoid Victorian Inns. I find them to be over decorated with uncomfortable furniture and a musty smell. Silas Robbins is the exception. The property is stunning and beautifully landscaped. The three outside seating areas are comfortable and serene. The house is exceptional with every piece curated with a eye to the smallest detail. If cleanliness is next to godliness this property is the gold star. Dmitry was the most gracious host and breakfast was beautiful presented every morning overlooking the garden.
This could not have been a more wonderful experience.
