  When drinking wasn’t fun anymore and I realized I couldn’t stop on my own, Serenity Mountain saved my life! The counselors are the absolute best I have ever worked with. They all specialize in something different which makes for a great, well rounded program. There is so much to learn. I signed up for 30 days and stayed 99! I have a new freedom I didn’t know existed for me.

  My daughter went here to recover from meth and has never relapsed even once or desired to use since she was there for almost 6 mos, over 2 yrs ago. She had gotten badly addicted to meth because someone had given it to her, saying it was a powder to help anxiety, this led to her becoming addicted to it. She had bounced from rehab to rehab bc the experience was so traumatic at the these other places, but God’s Mountain was so therapeutic and they truly pointed the girls to the ONLY One who can deliver and save us, Jesus. Thank you for what you did to help my precious daughter become addiction free and healed. May God receive all the glory.

  I have too many things to say to only rate once,
  
  This review I am writing regarding Vanessa, or as we lovingly call her NESSA! I have to say if anything is indicative of the kind of program this I'd, it is the way their house manager- therefore having the annoying task of maintaining all the needed structure in the home- was able to do so while feeling like family to many of the girls. I know she did (does) to me. Nessa was there for me through a few difficulties, always seeming to know I needed support before I was acknowledging it. We had great laughs and she helped me through a few tears also. Her role requires consistency and she brings that but her heart and compassion are all the same. I will end this saying the staff at God's Mountain were such a large part of how I feel God blessed me by sending me there. My life is forever changed and I thank Nessa for for who she is and what she provides there.

  Well where do I start about this mountain. I have been to another rehab prior to coming to the mountain. And wow just wow what a magical place. The beds and rooms are so comfortable. Feels like home. I mean come on the sunrises we get to experience every morning coming up from the bottom of the mountain is just the most peaceful thing I have seen. Then to the schedule we have is perfect. Between the groups over at the center where we have art therapy, music therapy, yoga, meditation, trauma, one on one counseling and much more. We also have down time to learn to manage our alone time with beautiful home cooked family meals and meetings every night. We even have the opportunity to experience finding our higher power. Church is a option if you choose to indulge in it. Nothing is forced in this recovery center but you have options to find what works for your recovery. The management staff here is amazing as well they treat us like family and not better than us early recovery clients because they are on there own journey of recovery as well. They help us as we help them. That’s how this program works. Thank you sandi and joe for this beautiful spiritual awakening experience.

  I came here so anxiety ridden and unable to cope on my own. I immediately felt loved, accepted and valued here. Yes there are rules you have to follow here just like any place but the atmosphere is beautiful and healing here. The owners put their hearts into this place and I've never anywhere experienced two people who truly want to show broken women hope and a better way! I have to say I resent some of the reviews bashing Sandy and Joe because I personally got to spend a lot of time with Sandy and she's a strong woman who shows so much grace and just loves everyone who comes through the door that really wants help and don't act like spoiled brats that are entitled. Sandy and the other staff always encouraged me and lifted me up. They loved me when I couldn't love myself and truly helped me to find my self worth! The counselors were amazing as well and the house mom always prepared the best meals ever. I can't say enough good things about this place and the beautiful souls who make it what it is. I owe a lot to this place and I'll forever be grateful. I loved the beautiful sunrises I was blessed to see every day the church I was able to attend and be baptized at. If I ever find myself in need of treatment again I will not hesitate to call Sandy! It would feel like home to me!
