RT knee replacement: 1/30/23
LF knee replacement: 3/13/23
Manipulation - RT knee: 3/13/23
My first rehab group did not push like they should have. Nice people, bad technique.
I had to have a manipulation to get my RT knee back on track.
After the LF knee replacement I went to SELECT PHYSICAL THERAPY - Newtown CT.
Amy and Tony have been outstanding! Their knowledge of rehabbing knee replacements has allowed me to overcome the RT knee manipulation and push my LF knee to where I should be. They both have different approaches which makes the rehab not boring, and more importantly, pushes my rehab in different directions.
This in turn produces great results!!!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SELECT PHYSICAL THERAPY - Newtown CT!!!!!!

Shout out to Kyle Dorosh! He was my PT for 2+weeks after a knee replacement. It was his expertise, encouragement and friendliness that helped me on to the next step. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their PT and if I ever need another, Kyle would be my first choice!
Nolan Rufa continues to be an excellent therapist as I recover range of motion and strength after right shoulder rotator cuff surgery. He explains each task that I do carefully and clearly, reminds me of the importance of doing each one correctly and how to achieve that and corrects any missteps by me in a very supportive way. He seems to have a sixth sense about any of my aches or pains and current levels and adjusts the rehabilitation tasks accordingly. I would recommend Nolan for any post surgery PT based on my experiences and what I have seen in his interactions with other clients.
Craig did a great job helping me recover from knee-replacement surgery! He explained what was most important to achieve in the first 8-12 weeks. The exercises he assigned were difficult but not out of reach. Craig is positive and engaging, and I would work with him again!
