(June 22, 2022, 6:31 am)Expensive not because they want to be its because they use the right parts and do what's necessary to make sure you leave their shop with a drivable and safe vehicle so safe the kids are more relaxed because they know who did the work and why the car isn't shaking when applying the brakes lol. Great work great service

(July 14, 2021, 8:44 am)I was referred to Schmidt auto by a friend and both times the staff more then once exceeeded my expectations. I’m the typical “girl” when it comes to vehicles and me trying to describe an issue with my car well embarrassing is an understatement! However he didn’t make me feel like a goober as well as they knew EXACTLY what was the matter and was able to get me right in either immediately or within 24 hrs of the initial call. Prices are more then reasonable! Highly recommend

(June 22, 2020, 3:33 pm)Small town friendly.... Things always go better when service providers know your name and face. We take 5 vehicles there a couple times a year with a fix it before it totally breaks perspective.... My family's safety and my time/peace of mind is worth it...

(August 5, 2016, 8:35 am)A Fairfax auto repair place told me I needed $1,000+ in repairs for parts gone bad. Traveling to PA I stopped in Schmidt's for a minor repair and mentioned the upcoming expensive repair I had. The owner, Brian Schmidt, showed me the parts that were supposedly bad were in perfect working order and I did not need the expensive repair another shop reported were necessary (and expensive). It's so hard to find shops that will focus on exactly what you need, not invent problems for their profit. I was so glad I found Schmidt's, who I can trust to care for my car. Honesty and integrity.

Recent experience - all brake lines replaced in my truck and they look great, excellent job and very reasonable.
