  Mike McDonald was a great comfort during the loss of our beloved brother and took care of all the necessary details of his final arrangements with unobtrusive efficiency. Their lovely facility was the perfect venue for the memorial service.

  Jim Scanlin sets the bar for professional services and genuine care for a grieving family. He handled every detail in an outstanding manner and provided our family great comfort with the recent loss of my father-in-law. Jim also followed up several times after the funeral just to check in and see how we were doing during this emotional time. Thank you Jim!

  My three year old daughter passed away at the end of January and Jim Scanlin was professional and compassionate from the very first time we spoke on the phone. He graciously guided my wife and me through some difficult decisions, helped us steer clear of common mistakes made by those who are grieving and helped us plan a dignified memorial service for my daughter. His good nature made a very difficult task manageable and in the end we are very grateful that he was able to look after our little girl and take care of our family at a very difficult time.

  Jim Scanlin did an excellent job on my father's funeral this summer. He was very caring and sensitive to all my questions and concerns. His prices were competitive and fair and he offered many options that suited our budget. Jim was able to point out things we didn't think about and offer suggestions that made a difficult time much easier to manage. About 7 years ago he also took care of my mother's funeral with the same quality service. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

  Jim Scanlin is thoroughly professional, courteous and attentive to handling the delicacies involved in grief and loss. He makes sure options, procedures, prices and preferences are well reviewed with the client and understood before anything is signed. He attends virtually every funeral he oversees personally to make absolutely sure everything goes according to plan. This is something many funeral directors don't do and demonstrates a consistent commitment to excellence. The quality of his work on a loved one's remains is really superb - in fact he is the preferred provider for our church, so I know his work is consistently excellent. Needless to say, I chose him for my mother's funeral as well. Jim also follows up after the funeral and business transaction is over - a nice touch and another example of his good service. I highly recommend Jim and his team.
