  Neat to visit. The kids loved climbing around the play train... But beware of the wasp nest in it.

  We had heard about this tree, so stopped on our way to OCNJ this morning. This was a very old tree that had died. A tree surgeon and a chain saw artist made it into a tribute to the town. Great surprise! We will stop again.

  Sawmill Park is a small park on the Harding Highway. The park is immaculate. Well kept. You feel very safe here. The parking area is limited but there is plenty of street parking. They have a tree, this mighty tree was carved by a chain saw artist, and is simply beautiful. The intricacies of his designs is breathtaking.
  There is a 911 Memorial with a piece of steel from the Twin towers.
  The caboose is an added feature that is cute, a fully restored steel caboose.

  On our way to Atlantic City, we would pass a Sawmill Park. We always noticed the tree had been cleared of bark and there was carvings on it. It was our plan to stop to see the tree up close. The carvings are so intricate. There is a sign in the park to tell you the history of the tree and the park. See pictures below.
