If you look at my pictures you can see it was so good that I ate the bones lol Great customer service, I don’t know his name but the tall guy with glasses help me complete my order and was very welcoming. The place is clean, the food was well served and I’ll be back. Next time I’ll do a review video for my YouTube channel @donjtv.

(May 24, 2023, 8:46 pm)Amazing Jamaican cuisine ! A cut above the rest. Staff is always customer oriented , friendly and ready to serve you. Not to mention the quality food they prepare and the desserts are top tier: Black Forest been my favorite. Absolutely amazing restaurant.

(January 23, 2023, 9:57 pm)Ordered one medium oxtail and on medium curry chicken. They ran out of plain rain, indeed my heart was broken….however overall the food was solid. There was a slight hint of sweetness in the food which personally I’m not a fan of… But I’d be back if I was craving Jamaican in the area. Solid 7.5-8/10.

(January 10, 2023, 7:51 pm)The other day I ordered, Sashey’s Kitchen, for lunch. I got their Small Oxtail Platter w/ Rice & Peas, Cabbage, and Plantain. This place is frekkin amazing! The staff was extremely attentive, and they also have excellent customer service. Not to mention their Oxtails are amazing! Great portion size, textures, and had the nerve to have phenomenal flavor. The Oxtails were very tender, there was only one large piece that wasn’t fully tender, which should be expected with the portions being made. Was still very good, regardless. The gravy was very home-y and had terrific flavor. I honestly absolutely loved this place. If anyone is in the Vauxhall/Union area, I would HIGHLY recommend, Sashey’s Kitchen, to anyone looking for some great Caribbean style food.

(September 11, 2021, 8:45 pm)I was in the mood for some Caribbean food so wanted to try this spot. I called in my order of curried goat, rice and peas and cabbage. When I arrived I parked in their little parking lot. When I walked in I was greeted by a nice young man. My food was ready and he told me it was $12.80. I paid with my card and there was fee of $.45. I grabbed my food and left. When I got home I dug in. The food was very good and filling. The rice and peas was very moist and good and the curried goat was soft and seasoned well. Everything was good and I would return.
