(May 23, 2023, 2:42 pm)We have been benefiting from two of the dog services Sarah's offers - training (for several months) and pack hiking (just recently) - and they have been outstanding. Ryan is a gifted trainer whose insight into dog behavior is remarkable. And his patience and communication skills are terrific. The hiking has tired our pooch out, as we had hoped. I recommend Sarah's Pet Services enthusiastically.

(April 11, 2023, 7:41 am)Sarah was our dog handler for our wedding in Northampton, MA in the fall. She was excellent - beyond our expectations! She truly cared about dog's well being, she not only picked him up and did an excellent job helping us with the ceremony - but went above and beyond. On the way home to drop him off to the boarding facility, she picked our fur baby up a pup cup and sent us pictures! She allowed me to have an stress-free wedding day because she took such great care of our dog. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for dog care on your wedding day.

(March 5, 2023, 7:47 pm)I contacted Sarah's Pet Services couple months ago and so happy I did. I work full-time and have a very special 7 year old female dog I rescued at the start of COVID who has severe hip dysplasia and arthritis in her lower spine. Like many, I worked remotely for almost 2 years and was able to spend so much more time with her and take her on daily walks more freely. Now back in the office, I have struggled getting her the daily exercise she needs for her ailing joints particularly during the early dark and cold winter months. I signed her up at a wonderful daycare facility where they all love her and provide wonderdul care, but just not enough exercise so I started looking into dog walkers hoping to mix up her weekly routine. A colleague of mine suggested I look into Sarah's Pet Services because they specialize in off leash dog walks. I spoke with Sarah and she explained their application and evaluation process which sounded very professional and organized. The application process was thorough. Once reviewed their trainer, Ryan, set up an appointment at home for an evaluation. Ryan didn't disappoint us. He was generous with his time and interest in our daily routine, specifics about her allergies and medical history, and then he spent time talking to just her. I was impressed. The next step was placing my dog with the right walker and the right group of dogs. He set my dog up with Ava who had 2 group hikes on Wednesdays and Fridays and start her off with the smaller, slower group of dogs to see how she does.
Like any parent would be, I was nervous about a stranger walking into my house to pick up my dog and how my dog would react so I wanted to be home the first couple of times Ava came. Ava couldn't have been more compassionate, calm, and generous preparing me and my dog for the new adventure ahead of her and meeting her new canine friends. While my dog wasn't sure what was happening that first time, she also knew mommy wouldn't let her get into just anyone's car with another dog. It's been a month now and Ava has been nothing short of an angel with my little furbaby. Ava exudes pure joy, warmth, and enthusiasm each time she picks up my furbaby. Ava is always positive and communicates with me from pick-up time until the time she has tucked my sweet girl in her favorite corner of the couch with her favorite blanket. I can't say enough about my positve experience with Sarah's Pet Services.

(March 4, 2023, 1:19 pm)Sarah's Pet Service is reliable and flexible. The walkers are knowledgeable and kind. I feel fortunate to have found them to help care for my elderly sheep dog. They send me messages and pictures every time they go for walks. I am appreciate the care and compassion that they extend to my dog and the communications that they share with me.

Sarah came recommended to us from our wedding planner at Valley View Farm and she offered wedding day dog sitting as well as assistance during our ceremony. IT WAS PERFECT! Our pup, Dot, is a little rambunctious and she helped all day by keeping her entertained on the grounds, assisting in photos and retrieving her from the ceremony after walking down the aisle. Having Dot be a part of our day and in the ceremony was such a joy and we could not have done it without Sarah. She even suggested we schedule an evening/dinner time walk so we wouldn’t be rushing back to the hotel. And when we did get back, Sarah had left a couple toys and treats for Dot to enjoy after a good day! If you want you pup to be part of your wedding day - we highly recommend Sarah!
