  When my wife and I started considering purchasing our first home, we knew less than nothing on what to do, how to do it, when we would have to do it, etc. and happened to request a viewing on a random house in Simsbury through Zillow and somehow lucked into having Rick reach out to show us the house. While that one wasn't our house, it was the beginning of a great journey to find our forever home with Rick leading the way. He patiently answered every question we had, showed us every house we asked to see (even if he knew it wasn't right for us), navigated offers that respected our comfort level in such a crazy market, and gave us sound advice at each step of the way. From the beginning, Rick set up a portal that automatically sent us new listing that met our criteria, which I thought was really helpful. When we would tour houses, Rick's keen eye to identify areas of "concern" helped us be realistic about what we could afford in terms of purchasing, but also the work that would need to be done shortly after to make the house OUR home. He advised us in a way that was clear he had our best interest in mind, and we came to really enjoy hanging out with Rick on weekends for showings (sorry Kristina!!). With all good things that come to an end, our journey ended in us closing on a home that is more than we could have dreamed of and (biased here) better than the other homes we didn't get offers accepted on. We couldn't have done it without Rick. He also has an expansive network of good people to work with. Not just from a business perspective, but GOOD people who you feel confident working with. So if you need to buy, sell, invest in real estate, give your time and business to Rick and you won't be disappointed.

  Rick helped us purchase a home in this wild market. He responded quickly to showing requests (i.e. feeding frenzies) For example we texted asking to see a place ASAP and were in 30 minutes later. He told us what we needed to hear about the market vs. what we wanted to hear, which ultimately helped us manage expectations, make a competitive offer, and get the perfect house. If you're looking for a realtor who gets straight to the point with none of the flash, Rick is your guy. He has also helped us screen and place tenants in our rental property. We have worked with Rick for years and will continue to do so!

  It's tough to put such a meaningful and positive experience into words and have them mean the same as how it all felt. I am TRULY grateful to have had the pleasure of working with Rick. He made the entire home buying process incredibly smooth and enjoyable for my family and I.
  
  Rick made us feel like family from day one, and those aren't just words I really mean that. It was honestly bitter sweet to have closed on our new home in what felt like record time, cause that meant the end of our working relationship. He is absolutely the type of guy you feel like you've known forever, even if it has only been a few short weeks.
  
  But Rick wasn't just a nice guy, he is incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of real-estate. There was a lot of unknowns going into this new adventure, but he guided us along the way and gave us confidence that we were in good hands. I learnt a lot from him, and not just in what I needed to do to buy our home but things to keep in mind as a new homeowner after the purchase. There was a lot that needed to be done within the process, but he made everything streamlined and easy to understand.

  My husband and I were looking to move from Colorado to Connecticut, in addition to purchasing our first home- which made the selection of a realtor a crucial choice. We are so thrilled we found Rick and Santa Realty to guide us through the largest purchase of our lives. Rick was highly knowledgeable regarding the CT market, always upfront and “to the point” regarding any questions we had as first time home buyers, while still letting us ultimately make the decision that was right for us.
