  As a first time visitor to Sals I got myself a grilled chicken Salad and beef gyro. The Gyro was one of the best I've had in a long time. Plenty of meat with everything else evened out perfectly. Made fresh. The chicken on my salad was done great, still Jucy and the bed of vegetables was fresh and well mixed. The fact I had a cut up tomato rather then grape tomatoes was a pleasure. Most delis skimp on salads. Not Sals. I will definitely be returning for some grub. Stop in and get yourself some GOOD food!

  What can I say? I'm annoyed it took me this long to try Sal's.
  Ordered a grilled chicken & prosciutto panini and it exceed my expectations of a central Jersey deli by far.
  The food, variety and atmosphere bring me right back to the deli in my old neighborhood back in NY and I couldn't recommend Sal's any more.

  Sal just catered our daughter's sweet 16 this past weekend and to say everything was great is an understatement. His food was amazing!! Everything was prepared so good! Everyone enjoyed all of the food. We had hot trays and sandwich rings and nothing was wasted. The kids loved it all and we know how teens eat! I would recommend Sal's Roma Deli and Pizza to everyone! They go above and beyond to make sure you the customer is pleased. From ordering to setting up, it was all top notch. If you haven't tried them yet, you definitely should! Would definitely recommend them! Thank you Sal and staff for making our daughter's party unforgettable!

  My boyfriend and I were working in Monroe which didn't have a big selection of places to eat. But we found this gem. If you're looking for a casual Italian sub and pizza shop that offers lunch specials as well you've come to the right place. My boyfriend and I came here just about every day to eat lunch because it was so good. Friendly staff and good service. Sal always offers a smile and conversation. My favorite was the eggplant parmesan panini. My boyfriend loved the Reuben. And we both loved their light and crisp New York style Pizza. Huge menu and they serve breakfast as well. I had a bacon egg and cheese breakfast burrito that was delicious! Dine in or order ahead!

  They make an excellent sandwich! My Italian hero was simply amazing...fresh ingredients and the bread was perfect.
  
  Lots of options on their menu...I hope to try a few more items when I return to the area.
  
  All staff were helpful and efficient. Though I did go later in the lunch hour (2pm ish)...it was likely a lot quieter then.
