  A dedicated to history staff and friendly open to the public at convenient times. For residents who live in Salem County and adjoining counties one should visit this museum.

  By far and away the coolest, richest and most fascinating collection of history in New Jersey. And perhaps one of the best local historical societies I've seen in our country. The tour guide and librarian were amazing. This is not just a museum - it is a living depository of knowledge. Local interest in historical preservation runs high, and offers a surprising collection, from fashion to architecture and industry. Something for everyone to find here. A must visit!

  I really enjoyed the museum at the Salem County Historical Society. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. The museum had many interesting artifacts covering the prominent people of the area, local industries and Indian artifacts.
