  Russell has been filling my radio needs for years, recently dropped off my 1984 Blazer.. picked it up end of the day only to find him buffing the paint to a brilliant shine , sound system was amazing, ears are still ringing !!

  This guy knows his stuff......complete new radio with backup camera, integration of steering wheel controls and sirius/XM using existing antenna. Works great and looks even better. Thanks Russ!!

  This is a review for a visit I had in August, but I held off because I don't often write reviews. I went here because it's the only shop willing to send a head unit out to be refurbished instead of replacing the whole thing. Most shops don't do this because you typically run a loss on it, but for someone looking to preserve and restore an older car ('87 Pontiac Fiero) it is a vital service. I also decided that, while I was around, I should have the speakers replaced with Hi-Fi ones from the Fiero Store. Russel let me have them be sent to his shop, since I can't have them shipped to me directly in the barracks. He got me in quickly, and did a very good job on the speaker installation, surprisingly not even cracking the '80s plastic dash, which I expected to have to fix given it's age and fragility. He had the speakers in the car in less than a day, and they sound great with the original tape player, which he sent off to be refurbished. Russell is a very easygoing guy, and very easy to work with. If you are looking to fix an ailing cars audio system, or replacing traumatized 35 y/o speakers, this is a fantastic shop to go to, and the only shop in eastern CT willing to save that original head unit.
