  Our family celebrated Mom’s 90th birthday on the estate mid December. We’re local, although my crew returned from out of town. We rented the 4 luxurious rooms for the long weekend and booked the ballroom for our party for 65 people. Our stay was amazing. Russell, Sergio, Karen and all the crew were welcoming and accommodating. The estate from the early 1900’s, is stunning and although historic, modern in amenities. Rooms are spacious, well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast each morning in the ballroom. Gathering around the fireplace was a joy. Planning for the party and execution was made easy. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Our Mom, local and out of town guests had a perfect time. Highly recommended. We will be back!!!

  I am a Hudson Valley wedding planner, and I plan weddings all over the Hudson Valley as well as in Connecticut & New Jersey. I recently worked with a couple who had their wedding celebration at Rushmore Estate. Quite simply put, the staff at Rushmore was amazing. Russ & Beth, helped us keep all the moving parts going. Ideally, Rushmore can accommodate 130 people in their ballroom. But our couple had other ideas, cocktail hour in the ballroom, a sailcloth tent on the lawn, for dinner served by food trucks, (4) - a 1980's disco band that was to perform on stage outside, (and then it rained, right on cue for a wedding in July in the Hudson Valley. So much going on at one time.
  
  The staff at Rushmore was amazing, they were attentive and all were team players, they knew that the overall goal was making and keeping our couple happy.

  Where do I begin??? From the beautiful historical architecture to the phenomenal views, Rushmore Estates is nothing short of amazing!!!!! This is truly a hidden gem in Hudson Valley. Must add that the staff was awesome and Manager Russell was extremely attentive and made sure all was in place for our stay. This was for sure an experience I will always remember!!!!

  Rushmore Estates, the owner, and the GM (Russell) made our stay, my fiancée and I, beyond incredible. Their accommodating nature, willingness to answer questions at anytime, and their ability to bring in almost every imaginable service made for the stay of a lifetime. Rushmore Estates is a beautiful and well maintained facility with amazing bedrooms and equally amazing living spaces. We had one of the best times staying at Rushmore Estates and we can’t wait to come back.

  After a family medical emergency canceled our original wedding plans, I hit the ground running to find something unique and beautiful close to my parent’s home in the Hudson Valley. From the very first visit, I knew we found our place. As someone in the wedding industry, I was incredibly particular in the "vibe" of our wedding weekend – elegant but laid-back, and The Rushmore Estate far surpassed everything we had hoped for in a wedding weekend. From the pool (a favorite) to the beautiful rooms, the lake to the ballroom, our guests were SO impressed. We took advantage of their catering suggestions and had amazing food for all events thanks to Peppercorn Events. Russell, Beth, and Karen made for a seamless event and I am forever grateful for their support as we had some additional needs to manage my Dad’s wheelchair due to his new injury. The team went above and beyond and even built a temporary ramp for him at the cottage. These little things made what could have been difficult/damper on the weekend much more easier for us. We had 85 wedding guests and utilized the pool/patio, cottage, ballroom, and 4 rooms above the ballroom – my suggestion would be to take advantage of everything available! Our guests were truly wowed by the event and I wish I could relive it again and again. My only complaint is not having enough time! We hope to visit again on our anniversary for another beautiful weekend. Thank you again to Russell, Beth, and Karen for everything.
