(June 18, 2023, 4:08 pm)Rose, our server, was top notch! She made great recommendations and gave honest opinions. The ricotta toast was an explosion of flavor. The fried calamari was some of the best we've ever had. Fish and chips was a large portion and perfectly cooked as was the chicken cutlet sandwich.
We ate outside and beautiful weather made the ideal Sunday afternoon! -

(February 28, 2023, 9:06 am)We had an early dinner at Rod's. The building is very nice after the renovation.
We started with drinks, and I had a New England Clam Chower for an appetizer. Nice twist putty a puff pasty on top. Definitely recommend.
For dinner, I had a Greek salad with salmon. It was nicely done, and the fish was perfect.
My wife ordered a fish dish off the specials menu. It came and was very impressive but so spicy hot it was not pleasant. I like spicy food and was surprised. I don't recall a note on the menu or the waitress warning it was so hot. Anyway, my wife sent it back, and they placed the fish on a less spicy base. The 2nd try was quite good.
Overall, it was a nice spot for a casual dinner and drinks. -

(December 26, 2022, 10:43 pm)Been here countless times over the years and with the recent renovations they’ve really upped their game here. The inside is really nice now. And the revamped menu is absolutely delicious. Feels like a very modern and improved take while still keeping some of the classic charm and core essence.

(August 7, 2022, 9:58 pm)Definitely recommend! Seated quickly! Friendly and fast wait staff. VERY clean! Food delicious! I ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp added. Large shrimp, which you don’t always receive at restaurants. My son liked the fries so much, he ordered a second batch. Would definitely return!!!
