Parking fee $6 applies all days year round from 8:30am - 4:30pm
Very limited Parking. If you are visiting on weekends, prepare to park on the highway outside (which may already have a long line of parked cars) -

(August 23, 2022, 10:58 pm)Nice trails to walk. Plenty of things to see along the way, cows, sunflowers, lake. Watch where you step, horses use the trails also. Make sure you have a trail map or use your gps so you don’t get lost.

(April 24, 2022, 11:27 am)Any time you can walk in the great outdoors, do -- especially if you're tense and frustrated. At this time of year, Rockefeller State Park has the fresh air, the sunshine, and the colors of a Bob Ross painting. Do yourself a favor and take the hours’ drive from NYC.
Parking is limited for a very nominal fee, $6 per vehicle. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting. I love walking along the paved paths and hearing the sound of pebbles crunching beneath my feet. There are several trails all kid and senior-friendly. Make sure your battery is charged, there are multiple photo opportunities. Swan lake was my favorite location for memory making. My family left excited for a return date. -

(February 13, 2022, 10:35 pm)The Orange 3 Lakes Trail is Really great- with varied terrain & some elevation, views, stream crossings, and nature all around. We like going south/clockwise from the parking lot at the visitor center
