I can't stress enough how impactful Scott and Rock City have been in my life. Rock City Academy transformed me as a guitarist, musician, and as a person. As a very shy preteen, Scott gave me the opportunity to join the rock band program. Learning how to perform with other musicians challenged me by bringing me out of my comfort zone. My consistent practice at Rock City culminated in many gigs, including unforgettable performances at Orange County Choppers and The Chance Theater in Newburgh. During my years at a Rock City, I made countless friends, gained confidence, and became a better musician. Today, I am still performing with band members I met in the rock band program. I owe it all to Scott and Rock City Academy. I highly recommend that you sign up for a trial lesson and that you consider joining the rock band program- even if you're nervous. It could be life-changing decision!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this music school. I was hesitant about learning the guitar at my age, but was made to feel welcomed, comfortable, and excited to take on the challenge. If you want to learn an instrument at any age, this is the place!

I’ve been going here for about 5 years now and not once have I regretted it. I love the place; I love the people. If not for rock city, I would not be doing what I love to do: playing drums. Speaking from my experience Scott and Nick are excellent in their strategies to teach me more about music.

Very friendly atmosphere with a complete on stage experience. Music instructors are friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful and encouraging.
