  Crowded but the line when so quickly. My boyfriend got a somewhat unlikely combo and it was DELICIOUS!!!

  Rita's frozen custard doesn't really need a review, especially if you're from Connecticut. But if you haven't tried frozen custard before, listen up. Imagine ice cream that doesn't melt quickly and stays rich. Now imagine making a small mountain of this goodness on top of a cone and imagine your face digging into this like a ravenous Yeti. That's exactly what you'll experience at Rita's. The swirl or twist (I can never remember which one it is on the menu) is a perfect combination of vanilla and chocolate custard. They also have ices, but I can't bring myself to try anything other than the swirl or twist. Trust me, it's worth it.

  We stopped by after a charity event. I can't eat diary but friends wanted ice cream. I had a tropical fruit ice. It was delicious. They had the ice custard and thoroughly enjoyed it. Said it was very creamy more like mouse.
