  We had our son’s 5th birthday party here. If you’re looking for something unique this is a great place to have a child’s birthday party. They were professional and took care of the set up and clean up. Sensei Koerner & Sensei Bush were great with all the children. By far the easiest party I’ve had for my kids because they handled everything for us. It was especially nice to have the place to ourselves. Felt way less chaotic than a party at urban air for example. They were very accommodating as they opened for us on my requested party date (they were supposed to be closed). They had fun activities planned the full hour and a half and kept the kid’s attention the entire time. Great place. I highly recommend!

  My son has been attending Rising Sun Academy for almost three years and he has grown so much thanks to their guidance. I have watched his coordination, balance, and speed increase. Even better, he has grown confidence in himself. The instructors are kind and firm and teach the students in a well balanced and disciplined manner. The students respect and love their studio. The instructors always find creative and energetic ways to introduce concepts to the students and maintain a positive and encouraging environment. I am so glad we joined RSK.

  My son has grown so much since starting at Rising Sun Karate. Its given him a place to find many positive role models. This dojo is exceptional at teaching its students self-discipline, self-confidence and the skills neccessary for self-defense. Their student creed is everything you want your child to live by. I cannot say enough about the instructors and owner. It's truly our saving grace!!!!

  Rising Sun Karate is an exceptional facility. My son has been attending for close to 6 months and the staff has been terrific. They are very knowledgeable and even more importantly patient with the kids. I recommend Rising Sun Karate wholeheartedly for any beginner.

  We enrolled our son into RSKA 3 years ago, and it was the best decision we ever made! The instructors there are amazing and have shown him compassion, patience, determination, and the importance and value of hard work. Our son admires and looks up to each and every one of the instructors, and he can't wait to hopefully be a black belt one day. I can't say enough great things about Rising Sun...it's worth every penny.
