Update. It's now late 2022. Youth programs seem to have slipped some but still pretty good. Sunday AM service is VERY loud, that isn't good for your hearing. Still preaching the Bible (that's good) but men wearing hats (ball caps this time) during the service? Not much reverence..... Music is excellent. -

(August 14, 2022, 9:45 am)Absolutely love this church. I've been to all sorts through my life. Many people, including myself in my past, have been drawn to a church's entertainment value. This is just a cheap thrill. Only skin deep. At First, it's genuine worship and genuine truth being masterfully preached. I've been searching for the preaching of biblical truth my whole life and found it in Perkasie. Not kidding. It's not watered down to appease the masses. It's not spun in any political or social bias either. It's contextual and real. It's changing my life. Also, I like that there is no flag on the stage, IMO. As Christians we do not belong to this world. This includes any world government. If we show up to worship, we worship God and no other. Not even the flag. We belong to Him.

(August 28, 2021, 7:52 am)My husband and I are so thankful to have found First. Every week, we walk away from the sermon feeling blessed by the teaching and feeling encouraged to live for Jesus. It is evident that much work and preparation goes into each sermon and the teachings are lovingly and clearly preached with points of application to help us live out our faith. Most importantly, the truth of God’s word is being preached, which is so rare these days. The church is also committed to reaching out to the community and drawing people to Christ. We look forward to continuing to grow in our faith at First.

They always have time to help anyone with a problem with the love of Jesus in their hearts. Exceptional Sunday sermons that are also great teaching sessions. Pastor Doug is our family pastor at the church and is a kind and godly man that loves to help people. The congregation is devout and talented and welcoming. If you love Jesus you will love it here. God Bless.
