(December 14, 2015, 12:11 pm)Both of my kids were in WH public schools and after a few years, my wife and I felt that they would be better served in an independent school setting. We toured Renbrook and was impressed with the diversity and class sizes. One child just graduated after 8th grade and our other one is presently still there in 5th grade.
The teachers knew both of my kids exceptionally well, working with them on the areas where they could improve or helping them achieve greater heights. They (the teachers) were accessible and responsive. The class size felt right and seemed to provide a stable and manageable setting for the teachers to work through a good amount of material each year...and without the negative of preparing for any state-wide testing.
If you aren't totally sure about the education your kids are getting, it's worth taking a tour and seeing if Renbrook could be a fit. It certainly isn't the stereotypical private school you might imagine.
