The staff is professional and friendly. I cannot say enough about Dr. Scollon-Grieve. She has truly made such a difference in my life and the back pain that I have battled for years. Cannot recommend enough.
Dr. Scollon-Grieve helped me with some shoulder pain (rotator cuff tendon-tear) using PRP.
She’s very friendly, easy to communicate with (as opposed to some other orthopedic Doctor/Surgeons I’ve come across). She will hear you out and give you your best options. All of the staff was great too, easy to work with. I would recommend this location for sure - and if you are considering a surgery with another doctor ... I would definitely recommend seeing Dr. Scollon-Grieve BEFORE you commit to going under the knife. She may be able to fix your problem and you could avoid potential surgical complications (Which is what I’ve been dealing with from a different doctor. Not to mention, the prior surgeon I dealt with didn’t even fix the issue I initially had in my shoulder - which was the entire point of going the surgical route. I only came out of surgery with the same pain I went in with, plus new/different - chronic long term pain from the surgery.).
Its no exaggeration - I wish I would’ve just gone to see Dr. Scollon-Grieve before ever getting surgery. After all the prior wasted time (MRIs, surgeries, PT, etc.) - she found the original source of pain and treated it.
I recently had a PRP procedure for my knees and hip with Dr. Berger. I contemplated the procedure for some time before actually scheduling. Dr. Berger and Michelle we so patient with me and really took the time to answer my many, and often repetitive, questions. By the day of the procedure, I was very comfortable with my decision and was reassured because everyone I came into contact with in the office was friendly and supportive. I highly recommend Dr. Berger and his team!
Dr. Scollon-Grieve is the absolute best. She's helped me with a number of sports-related injuries stemming from various life adventures over the past decade: A separated shoulder, several ankle sprains, hip issues, and then some. Her approach to care is top-notch, as she always puts the patient first, no matter what. I can't rave enough about Dr. Scollon-Grieve, and continue to recommend her to all of my friends and family members in the Philadelphia area who are seeking a true expert in orthopedics.
