  My 85-year-old mother was recently admitted to the Skilled Nursing facility following emergency abdominal surgery. She has Parkinson's, so we knew level of care she needed would be intense and complicated. We could not be happier. The therapy team was very attentive to her progress. They made sure she was improving without pushing her too hard or allowing her to become discouraged. They managed to find that perfect balance. There was always clear communication with the billing department. I needed a crash course in Medicare and they provided it willingly. Michelle, the social worker was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond the call of duty every time. If you're looking for a safe and caring environment to help care for your elders, this is the place. Not enough stars available - Reformed Church Home is top notch.

  My family had a great experience when my mother was in their skilled nursing unit. The facility was immaculate. The people were caring and professional. My mother was well looked after while she was there. If there was ever a concern, they worked with my family to address it to our satisfaction. I never had to worry while she was in their care. My father is now in their assisted living area. They regularly communicate with the family about any concerns and safety measures for the residents due to the pandemic. They work creatively to provide activities and entertainment while keeping the resident's health and safety as a priority.

  My 94-year-old mother is very fortunate to be a Reformed Church Home resident during the pandemic. The nursing home staff has always been great during the almost five years that my mom has lived there, but they have went above and beyond since March. Not only are they very responsive to calls and emails, but they also arranged daily FaceTime calls with my mother. They set up super safe visiting options once it was safe too.
  
  This is a wonderful facility— friendly, clean, sunny (so many windows), and I’m thankful to everyone who works at Reformed Church Home for taking such good care of my mom.

  I can not say enough about the skilled, extraordinary care my 96 year old mother is getting at this wonderful facility! The staff is competent, caring, & always available to help her! She loves living at RCH! Which, for woman who took care of her husband with Alzheimer’s for 20 years, and thought being in a nursing home was unthinkable, is truly a tribute to this facility & it’s staff! I especially commend their extra efforts & dedication during this Covid 19 pandemic! They’re working even harder & under more stress, but my Mom is not lacking attention & care! The staff also goes out of their way to help us have safe distance visits with loved ones, where two family members are outside and the resident communicates by phone through a glass door! This has truly been a gift to the residents & family members!
  I keep the staff at this exceptional facility in my daily thoughts & prayers. May God bless them as they care for those who can not care for themselves with compassion & dignity!

  After what I have seen in nursing homes with 2 sets of elderly family members (my parents and my in laws) I can tell you that this nursing home is a palace. It is clean, I never had to wait for anyone to do anything important, they either had it done or were asking me before I even had the thought. Keep in mind the difficulty of working in a place like this, how stressful and sad it must be at times. The employees here really made us feel comfortable about everything, they are giving excellent care to my mother in law in rehab, they are always pleasant, thorough and professional. They always remember who I am and who I am there for. I can see all the other patients are well cared for and happy (as they can be - in a nursing home). The nursing homes I had dealt with previously were horrible, patients left alone, things getting stolen, uninformed and unprofessional employees, broken a/c unite, bugs etc - but there is NONE OF THAT GOING ON HERE! They make sure each patient has their own belongings always and this place is clean and pleasant. It came highly recommended by a friend who is a speech therapist (not associated with this facility) and also a resident of the home who has been a life long friend of my mother in law. When you walk in the door there is nothing that seems like a nursing home, it is more like a five star hotel. I am thankful my mother in law had a chance to come here, because I know she is well cared for, she is never left alone unless she is sound asleep (even still they have devices to alert everyone to any minor need). She is getting all the therapy (and then some) to make it so she can get well. Thank God we found a place that goes above and beyond any expectation. This is a beautiful nursing home with plenty of good spirit and care to go around.
