Went here today this is my first time doing cash for gold so I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect but everything went great and fast. I went in the man took the jewelry he weighed it and told me what everything was worth. He was really nice and honest. I was satisfied with the price. Will return if I have anything else.

Lou is a genuine, stand-up guy. I had a mess of scrap gold and he was patient, kind, and fair. He carefully took the time to go through each piece and explain his process and pricing. It was a great experience, I'm happy with the payout, and I will definitely be back.

Early in my days of buying and selling I shopped around several establishments advertising “HIGHEST PRICES PAID”. I did my homework on buying, selling and scrapping. None were paying anything fair. I went to Ct Gold Buyers in East Haven with a known quantity of gold and silver scrap and knew its worth. I was offered more than expected. Wow! My experience was next to perfect with the only negative being that I didn’t discover it sooner! I was helped with one-to-one personal individual attention by Matt, one of the owners. He couldn’t of been more personable. I felt comfortable, and able to relax, with a strong instinctual sense that I was in trustworthy company. And we met in a private room away from distractions, making me feel much safer than out in public with crowds of sorted street urchins on looking. What a refreshing breath of fresh air from the larger pawn shops! I received 3 times the cash for my silver than the big pawn shops ever offered. I even got paid for a gold/silver pendant a pawn shop mistakenly deemed “worthless”! Good thing I got a 2nd opinion, and didn’t throw it out like the pawn shop advised. I will definitely be back!
