  The staff was great. Initially we were assigned second floor room. I can't do stairs and they were working on the elevator. We were able to get first floor. The rooms were clean and newly renovated. Breakfast area and lobby was great. I would stay here again. My only wish was that the pool was up and running but they needed to do maintenance and called ahead to another hotel and I was able to use their pool. No complaints only compliments. Kat

  Due to the flooding in Northampton a few days before our stay, there were mosquitoes EVERYWHERE in town, including in our hotel room bec it had an exterior entrance and would let bugs in every time the door was opened. The first night was very unpleasant and I couldn't sleep because of the mosquito bites. The next morning I spoke to the manager and she was very prompt and helpful (her helping us effectively is the only reason my rating is a positive one, otherwise I had fully made up my mind to leave a negative review). She gave us a different room which had an interior entrance so it would mitigate the mosquitoes entering the room.
  Thank you for helping us out and improving the quality of the rest of our stay.
  
  The breakfast is pretty good.
  
  But I do think they need to pay more attention to the exterior rooms' quality of service-- in our first room, the fridge had drinks left over from the previous guest when we arrived, the AC thermostat didn't work, and they didn't want to do anything about the bugs in that room. I spoke with two different employees about the bug issue, and none of them offered a definite solution. It was only after a sleepless night when I finally spoke to the manager did we get a proper acknowledgement and a solution.
