(April 28, 2021, 10:28 am)Went on a beginners hike with leader. Two hours, with some good vertical changes. Trails seem well maintained. Good workout. Saw Tripod Rock. Will go again. The parking lot at the visitor center can fill up. People seem to park on both sides of the street adjacent to the parking lot with no trouble.

(December 17, 2020, 5:10 pm)Amazing hike with views. We have encountered a bear only once, we stopped/paused and it went it's merry way towards water. Trails are well marked and is a good hike to do with kids as well. So many options.

(September 4, 2018, 12:34 pm)The park is wonderful and well maintained. The rangers are all friendly and were very helpful. I forgot my hiking poles but they offered me a pole to borrow. Right on!!
I hiked to the Stone Ruins. Very nice. -

(September 1, 2018, 5:24 pm)There is a bathroom in the visitor center. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. There are maps. The blazes are okay marked. There is plenty of free parking.

(August 12, 2018, 3:52 pm)There are multiple trails color coded scattered in somewhere 29 miles. They all are easy trails with so many interesting stops.
