We did a lot of research on different moving companies in the area and Purcell was not the least expensive, but 100% worth every penny (and more). This family run business takes pride in the service they provide, and pay attention to every detail as if they were moving their own prized possessions.   I have not written many reviews, but I just had such a phenomenal experience with local movers that I really want to share.
  I have moved quite a few times to date, and it has always been a very stressful experience. In addition, my furniture still bears the scars of every past move.
  
  I cannot say enough positive things about Purcell Movers. They were part movers, part magicians, and at times part Psychologists. They wrapped each piece of furniture in plastic wrap first and then blankets. They knew every trick in the book to make certain everything arrived safely in perfect condition. It was a tricky move including a small spiral staircase in my new place. They assured me that would be no problem, and much to my surprise they were absolutely right. Somehow they got my sons very large bed up that staircase and way more. The whole team was so polite and professional, and Shane at the helm was amazing. He was even able to talk my husband into parting with a few items which was close to a miracle. In the past there were always extra fees tacked on for this or that. Purcell movers gave a quote and the final price actually ended up slightly less. Purcell is hands down the best movers we’ve ever used.

  I’ve used Purcell moving for many years to move my family, and recently used them to move my business, which was a very heavy hard job. Shane suggested a crane and flat beds coupled with his trucks,,. It was genius,,, add in his pro team who hustled their butts off and it went great! The job took 11 hours and nobody stopped moving.   Purcell Moving provided exceptional service. They took extraordinary care to ensure all furniture arrived safely, including wrapping all upholstered items in plastic and covering other items with blankets. They covered hardwood floors at both houses with padded “blankets” to prevent scratches. They took great pains to place items exactly where I wanted them and set up beds beautifully. Some furniture was very heavy and bulky, and they managed to move and place them with care. Both houses had multiple floors, so it wasn’t an easy job. Purcell movers were on time, efficient and very professional. And, very nice, a plus! I highly recommend Purcell Movers!!

  Purcell Movers are an awesome team. Shane is available personally through the entire process to answer questions, address concerns and ensure that everything goes smoothly. Their team is courteous and careful. They completed a large move without damage. We asked them to move some of the large pieces of furniture to another spot in our new home after we changed our mind about placement. They were great about that-very professional. They made the entire process a lot less stressful than anticipated. I would recommend them highly.
