  I highly recommend Pulse MD in Mahopac. I had some pain in my neck/lymph node and needed to have it checked. From the moment I walked in, everyone was pleasant and the process to register was easy and quick. Registration is a combination of online and paper. The nurse, Ashley, was friendly and extremely professional. Matt, the Physician Assistant, was equally pleasant and professional. Matt explained what could be happening, how to treat it and how to f/u with an ENT specialist as needed if my symptoms did not improve. Suggested a rapid strep swab and sent a specimen to the lab for confirmation. I like that Matt didn’t automatically prescribe antibiotics which may not be warranted in my situation. Good clinical decisions were made in my opinion.

  we went to pulse honestly after being rejected by another urgent care because we got there a 1/2 hr. before they closed. PULSE took us in quickly and we were treated so well and professionally. They took their time and were very personable.

  Top notch bedside manners and knowledgeable medical staff!
  From the moment I walked-in, the receptionist greeted me with empathy and a reassuring comment. She said "let's get this paperwork done so that we may get you back to good health as quickly as possible". These words were so critical to me at that moment when I was in so much pain. It was the quick mental shift that I needed. Within 5 mins of my arrival (I had a scheduled appointment) the nurse came out with a similarly friendly and empathetic welcome. The Nurse was informative and knowledgeable. She did the triage steps, all while providing excellent conversation and exhibiting compassion. Three minutes later the physician walked into the room with excellent matching energy and bedside manners.
  I have tried other Urgent care facilities in the area and I must say, that I am impressed by this Pulse MD Mahopac location. The first time I visited was around February for my daughter, but didn't write a review because I wasn't sure if I had just gotten lucky that day. This second visit for myself has me convinced that this is a place where it is standard to provide patients with a warm welcome, excellent bedside manners and quality care to get patients back to health as quickly as possible.
  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

  I've used Pulse several times in recent years for COVID, ear infectoins and other small medical issues. They've always been easy to see and responsive and resolved the issue professionally. I like their on line sign up and sign in system to minimize paperwork in the office. I'm sure they get slammed sometimes, but for me they've always been very good about seeing me at or near my scheduled appointment time.

  I was pleased with my experience.This is a busy cold and flu season and I know there will be alit of patients that will need care. It was a bit of a wait but I had nowhere to be at that moment. Once I was seen it was1,2,3, and I was finished. People today are in too much of a rush, and have nothing to do but complain. I'm very satisfied with my care. Thank you, Happy Holiday!
