  Simply great service! Mr. Robert, Meg, and the family provided my family with comfort and kindness during the trying time of planning my mother’s funeral. The professionalism and humility that was given during our interactions with Mr. Bob and his family helped to dull the pain of the experience of burying my mom. The funeral arrangements and viewing at the funeral home was so classy and polish that family members from New York asked for Mr. Bob’s card to ask about their prices for out-of-state funeral arrangements.
  
  My family and I took comfort in knowing that my mother was laid to rest in such a respectful and beautiful manner. Her makeup and casket arrangement was so beautiful that she appeared to be sleeping. Mr. Bob’s kindness and friendship will stay forever with my family, and I am pre-planning my arrangements to take place at Prout Funeral Home. In essence, I strongly encourage anyone that needs a reliable and trustworthy funeral director to use Prout Funeral Home, you wouldn’t regret the decision.

  We were a little lost when our beloved dad passed away on Friday, January 20th. While a Christian burial was always in his plans, we had never talked about the funeral home.
  Since my parents lived in Verona for over 55 years, we felt a place that was close to home was important.
  We called the Prouts Friday morning and by 11 AM, they had us in their care.
  With great kindness, compassion, and impeccable attention to detail, Bob, Meg, Julia and Steve thought of everything and made this very difficult time one of comfort. We found some moments to laugh in remembrance, and we loved meeting Morris, the service dog.
  While no one wants to plan a funeral, our family cannot thank the Prout family enough for how they guided us through one of the most difficult passages of our time here on earth.
  Our thanks go to them and our highest regards for the amazing care and work that they do.

  When my mother died we only had her wish to have a natural burial. We were fortunate to find Prout Funeral Home quickly - Mr. Prout is incredibly knowledgeable about natural burial options and his family directed our funeral with kindness, attention and generosity. The experience was ultimately exactly what wanted and I’m very grateful to them for their professionalism and gentleness.

  The Prout Funeral Home came to pick my mom up from out of state. Amazingly professional, patient and caring. I have never encountered such ease and compassion in dealing with such a difficult event. Mr. Prout is truly an amazing man. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your understanding.

  I am so grateful for kind and supportive services that we received from Prout Funeral Home. My family was quite surprised when my mom expressed her desire for a natural/green burial as she entered hospice, and we knew that we wouldn't have much time to arrange it for her. Thankfully, we found Prout and they made everything so easy for us - and at a time when we most needed kindness and a gentle guide. They mean it when they say they are available 24H a day, and they sprung into action to help make every arrangement, and helped us create a meaningful and beautiful ceremony with only 36 hours notice. No detail was a second thought, and I really can't say enough good things. Thank you, Bob, Meg and Morris for your kindness and attentiveness.
