  I am fortunate to have completed my undergraduate internship at Prosthetic and Orthotic Associates with Cassandra and her team. My supervisors were genuine, caring, and knowledgeable. I received feedback specific to my areas of challenge and strength, and each supervisor in their own way encouraged and supported me in developing a professional identity authentic to who I am. Additionally, I do not think it possible to ask for a better training director than Cassandra. She is intentional, organized, ethical, transparent, and protective of the intern training experience. She, as well as the entire staff at POA, put in great thought and effort into the training program, and I think
  that speaks to the ethic of care that permeates the center. While shadowing patient’s appointments, Cassandra demonstrated the compassion, communication, and professionality that every care provider should strive for. The training program exceeded all of my expectations. The growth I experienced there will continue to guide me throughout my professional life.

  As an amputee with a lot of experience I can honestly say that POA is SECOND TO NONE!!! the care that I get here is consistently more than I expect to receive. If you are having issues finding a good prosthetic/orthotic practice look no further. Thanks to them I will be running a 5k just 2 years after my amputation! Th a k you guys for everything!!!!

  I really appreciated the care I received from POA this year. From the beginning, they listened to me and I feel like they truly want the best for me. I trust them fully with my care and I am so glad I went to them. They truly are experts in prosthetics.

  Dear Tom,
  
  I just wanted to say how pleased I've been with you and John Hess.
  
  It's hard to find the personal service and, the care and compassion both of you have given me.
  
  I've been through a lot with the failed surgery I had in May of this year. When I came in for the first visit I was filled with emotions not knowing if I'd be able to walk again or maintain a normal standard of living.
  
  John Hess is truly a asset to your practice and I can not say enough about his professional demeanor and the knowledge he brings to your practice.
  
  John has worked with me for about ten years and provided me with two prosthetic legs of which have been painless and great to wear. The new leg I picked up last week was a totally different limb with the pressure points and suspension device. I'm so pleased to be able to walk with out pain and the suspension device seems to be the best I've ever worn.
  
  I hope John Hess says with you as long as I'm alive. You both have my business until I can walk no longer.
  
  Again, my sincere thank you to both of you for helping me walk and have somewhat of a normal life like everyone else. I will recommend everyone I know who needs this type of service to your practice.
