Pristine Pediatric Dentistry - Dr. Leona Kotlyar DDS

We are thrilled that Dr. Kotlyar opened this office in Paramus so that we can continue going to her after moving to Bergen County because she is truly the best! She is amazing with kids, extremely knowledable and makes the process for my kids an easy and fun one. We made our first appointment on opening day and the new space is gorgeous. My younger son had a cavity that Dr. Kotlyar used a laser to fix it so no needles needed, it was quick and painless. My son watched TV the whole time and didnt even move.

All of our kids have been going to Dr Leona from 12 months on. We have 3 kids, age 8,6,4. All 3 run to the dentist every time. Dr Leona is incredibly knowledgeable, super nice to kids and insanely patient. She gets work done no matter the situation. One of the most important and appreciated attributes is that she is always available. Both boys have had multiple injuries to their front teeth. Dr Leona takes my calls even when she’s on vacation. My daughter gets in the chair and opens her mouth with no fear.
My goal remains that my kids go to their dentist with no fear and I wouldn’t be able to achieve it without Dr Leona.
Paramus office is a blessing since we just moved here and would otherwise have to drive to Brooklyn since Changing kids dentist was never an option.
Bring your kiddies here, you will not be disappointed. Your kids will get the best care out there. The toys they get after each visit are awesome. Thank you Dr Leona! You are a true Tooth fairy!

Dr. Kotlyar has been my kids' dentist their entire lives and we have followed her to three different locations. Dr. Kotlyar is the quintessential pediatric dentist, or as my children used to call her the "tooth fairy" when they were toddlers. She is extremely knowledgeable, gentle and caring with the children. She does not push any treatment that is not absolutely necessary and can handle those difficult little patients with ease. She has performed a baby root canal on my daughter (not an easy patient) while using only local anesthetic. I am always horrified when I hear of pediatric dentists taking little children into the OR to perform treatment under general anesthesia. Dr. Kotlyar will have your child watching their favorite show on tv while she inconspicuously does her thing and will have them in and out in no time. We used to travel to South Brooklyn to see Dr. Kotlyar when we moved to NJ and I was so happy to learn that she has opened up an office in NJ , which is clean, modern and beautiful. I will add that we still drive about 45 minutes to see her even though there are several recommended pediatric dentists within a 15 minute radius of where we live. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist for your child, this one is an absolute gem.

Dr Leona has been my kids dentist for the past 6 years. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind and always looking to help in any way that she can. When my family moved to NJ, we would schedule our appointments during our weekends in Brooklyn. Her staff was always accommodating.

My family is so happy to have our favorite dentist so close to home. My kids are always excited to visit the dentist, they treat it like a fun activity - the gifts help too :). Leona creates a memorable experience, which leads to better oral hygiene after all our visits.
