  It’s my pleasure to leave a review for this rehab center. Is there is a place someone needs to go to for recovery this IDs the place to go to! Everyone is A1 in their customer service and empathetic to your circumstance. Problem solve almost immediately and truly have you in mind for your individual care. Don’t think about it twice🙌

  It would be a five star but unfortunately I have to rate the dietary portion of moms care. The food was horrendous but the facility is trying to correct the issue. They hired new staff to correct the things and they did seem to improve before mom came home.
  
  My mom was well cared for by the nurses and aids. There is a little room for improvement regarding communication as to her progress from the staff to include physical therapy.
  
  All in all a much improved facility from the old days under a different name. I know there is no place like home for mom, but at preferred care I know she’s safe and cared for. Now if could just work on the food! 🙂

  I would recommend this place. It is a good place to go for rehabilitation and nursing. They have an excellent gym for especially for the physical therapy and restorative therapy.Regarding the staffing. The nurses are top notch and the aids are also top-notch. All nursing home and rehabilitation homes each have their own problems to deal with but it is I’ve been in different homes before and this is been the only one I can say it’s been able to deal with it in the best way possible.
  The administration when I first got here promise me a lot of different things they would do to try to make things as comfortable as possible, and as of up to the state they have fulfilled everything that I was promised

  We has to put my mother in rehab to get her back on her feet after her hospital stay. We were very optimistic, because we had to send her to a different facility in the area last year and we were extremely disappointed. Since my mother has been at Preferred Care of Absecon, we cannot say anything negative about the care she is receiving! From the moment we walked in the doors, the interior is fully remodeled from the old Absecon Manor. The ENTIRE staff (from administrators to aides) are amazing! They were not only prepared, knowledgeable and attentive to all her needs, but also very caring and patient! I would recommend this place to anyone who has that tough decision to place a loved one in someone else’s care!

  My 87 yo mother took a nasty fall and spent a little more than a week in rehab at Preferred Care of Absecon. I found the staff to be very responsive to mom’s needs. The nurses were professional and efficient, the aides were kind and helpful, and the social worker was especially patient with me while learned how to navigate the tangled web of nursing home care/Medicare/insurance/ physical therapy, etc. Was everything perfect? No. But it was a positive experience overall.
