  I tried a free class last weekend. I had never done Jiu-Jitsu before and thought it might be something I’d enjoy. I felt like the instructors were friendly and informative. I didn’t feel intimidated that I wasn’t understanding some things and had to be shown it again. They actually taught me unlike other places where there was an expectation to have some knowledge before trying it. I also didn’t feel like there was a hard sell after the class. Precision is a good distance from my house. With that in mind, the lead instructor simply encouraged finding a jiu-Jitsu location closer to home and didn’t force his place upon me.

  Not affiliated with the school but I attended a seminar there this past weekend. Pete was an amazing and knowledgeable instructor who was very thorough in his teaching methods and encouraged students to ask questions. Would highly recommend anyone looking into training BJJ to check out Precision!

  It’s not often you can find a morning class as early as Precision’s 5:30AM class. It fits perfectly into my schedule, allowing me to train early enough to make work and then have my evenings free to spend with my family. The instructor, Ryan, simplifies moves to allow newer students to pick them up quickly but also instructs in how changing an angle or arm position can make the same move much more effective for more advanced students. The other morning class students are great to train with. Can’t recommend Precision enough.

  I am the father of two boys who started at this gym at the ages of 6 and 8. Over a year later, I am thankful for the positive influence this gym has made on them. One competes in tournaments, the other chooses not to, but both kids get unbelievable coaching from a great group of people. They love the sport thanks to the introduction they’ve been given at Precision. V highly recommend.

  Great place to train with friendly and knowledgeable coaches along with friendly teammates. I've trained at a few places during my jiu jitsu career and this is one of the few gyms where there is zero drama and cliques. Just come in with a good work ethic and train. Coaching and environment is informal (no need to bow, wear particular gis/colors, no need for terms like "professor" or "sir"). Each coach offers their own different teaching style with a competition mindset. If you're looking to push yourself mentally, physically, and build some long lasting relationships, this is the gym to be.
