(July 9, 2023, 12:44 am)Mountain biking is awesome here, prices are reasonable and the twilight riding is a perfect amount of time to ride at a great price. I brought a few friends and they rented everything (helmet, pads, and bike). We all had a wonderful time. It’s a nice escape from life’s daily grind. I recently found out my wife had been in cahoots with another man. I’ve been raising a child that isn’t my own for 16 years and now I don’t know a way out because I love him like my own. This mountain park allows an escape for several brief hours where I’m not thinking about my tragic relationship. 10/10

(July 3, 2023, 12:10 pm)I just went downhill mountain biking yesterday and it was definitely a fun day! It's a nice mountain to visit to ride if you are local and within a couple of hours. I live on long island, so you can either drive around or take the ferry. Trails were challenging enough for those looking for some fun. The restaurant at the lodge too had magnificent food. Will definitely be going again!

Hours will be adjusted depending on mountain and weather conditions. When on mountain and need Powder Ridge Ski Patrol call 860-876-9063. Fire at The Ridge - For reservations, hours and menu. Rental Department opens 30 minutes prior to start of lifts. Helmets are mandatory for all mountain sports.

Accommodations. The Powder Ridge Day Rooms are equipped with King or Queen Murphy beds and pull-out couch, full bath and television. Day Rooms - Check-in at 11 a.m., check out at mountain close. Overnight Rooms - Check-in at noon, check-out at 10 a.m. Add $30 for additional sofa bed (sleeps two children). $25. pet fee per visit.
