  Found this place by chance on the way to a family reunion at the lake. Loved everything we had - the ribs, pulled pork and the spicy fries. The two gentlemen who were running it were super friendly and the service was great. Really flavorful, fresh and big portions. There are tables outside and a cute outdoor bar as well. We are planning to go back again this weekend on our way out of town. Highly recommend!

  Delicious food and great service. It was late Sunday and they were running out of meat because they smoke all their meats 13 hours to make it so tender and delicious. They are closed Mon-Wed so it makes sense they don't want a lit of expensive meat leftover and wasted after closing Sunday.
  The ribs were delicious and smokey and don't even need sauce, but they have sauce if you want it. The pulled pork was tender and juice and delicious. I had the mac and cheese that they make with a homemade roux and Gouda , which was great. The loaded potato salad is also homemade and very good.
  CJ is the manager and her nephew Ollie is in the kitchen and taking orders. They were both so friendly and helpful. Truly great people who run this BBQ restaurant and produce and serve high quality smoked meats and fresh homemade sides. They each came out to see how I was and stayed to visit a while since it was the end of the day.
  If you are ever in the area and want to support a great family and eat fantastic smoked Texas style BBQ, you must stop here. Keep in mind if you need a big order on Sunday afternoon or evening, it's a good idea to order early in the day, or be flexible and try what they have left. You can't go wrong here.
  Also weekends they try to have live music. Lots of room in the grass for the kids to play.
  
  This will be our go-to BBQ joint when in town.

  Found this place while looking at Lake Wallenpaupack. Saw a picture of the Brisket and decided to give it a try. That brisket did not disappoint! VERY lean but still moist, fork-tender, with lots of smoky flavor. Did not need any sauce, but a little bit didn't hurt.
  The Mac & Cheese has smoked gouda and was creamy and quite tasty. The cole slaw was also quite good.
  Our only complaint was that there's a $1 upcharge for a couple of the sides and that wasn't disclosed on the menu. When we asked, we were told it was because of the gouda. But it should've been mentioned on the menu.
  Pitmaster James came over and chatted with us for a few minutes and gave some recommendations. Overall all staff were very pleasant and helpful. They even gave us some ice for the additional take-home order of meat.
  We'll take this 3-hour trip again sometime!
  
  Oh, and if you look at their Facebook page, it seems like it's just a food truck, but it's a regular building with both indoor and outdoor seating.

  What an amazing BBQ gem right here in the Poconos. If you like BBQ, heck even if you’re not a big fan please come check this place out. Small family run business with some of the best restaurant bbq I’ve ever had. My wife, kids, mother inlaw and I went there last night 6/31 for dinner and had an outstanding meal. I got the Pit Master platter and it was loaded with more meat than I could possibly eat in one sitting. The Brisket was outstanding, ribs were fantastic, pork and chicken were top notch as well. I judge a place by its smoke flavor and how juicy the meat is and everything was excellent. My wife judged a bbq place on how good the sides are. The Mac n cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, and sweet potato mash were all incredible. Of you cannot forget about the cornbread, that was damn good as well. All in all, a great spot to eat with a great atmosphere for the whole family. We will definitely be back. Oh yea, the managers kids came out and played volleyball with my kids after they were done eating. Just a great experience.
