  My Father in law passed away unexpectedly this past Sunday. Our family was devastated & didn’t know what to do. We care for my Mother in law, who has dementia, & most of the other family/friends are not close by.
  I read the reviews for Polhemus & especially the kind things that were said about Rich. From the very first phone call he was such a comfort. He was very on-top of things, answered our calls & questions no matter what time, & truly was a blessing to our family.
  I would definitely recommend his services & I hope that he can be a comfort to you as well.

  I am from NC but was with my mother in NJ when she passed away. When I called Polhemus Cremation Services, I was impressed that he answered the phone, and he said he would always answer the phone. He was available to answer all my questions, and when my mother passed away, he came quickly to help us. Mr. Polhemus was very kind, honest, sensitive, supportive as we navigated this difficult time.

  1st class service and economical. "Rittie" the owner/ operator is extremely professional, kind, compassionate, friendly and an all around great person. If you use their services, you will be dealing directly with him. He does everything himself. I really liked that he takes the time to make you feel good and presents no pressure at all. Highly recommend his services if you find the need to have to use cremation services! Unfortunately, I just had to use this kind of service. I am completely satisfied with my decision to use his services. I'm sure you will be too.

  My Mom passed away in July. Rich, with Polhemus Cremation Services, made this heartbreaking experience easy and painless. My moms wishes were to be cremated. I pre- planned and paid her service when she became very sick. Rich was amazing, organized and caring.I was absolutely impressed and blessed that I dealt with him. Thank you again Rich for making such an awful situation so easy. I'm forever grateful!!

  Polhemus Cremation Service is the best and most caring family business I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Unfortunately my Mom and Dad passed six weeks apart and when seeking this service I notice some big companies that were like factories. Polhemus is the complete opposite! Richard Polhemus is like visiting family. He explained everything with patience and kindness. He always answers his phone it’s not some call center. He prayed over both my parents and helped me get through the experience seamlessly both times! I would highly recommend this company without hesitation! God bless this company and the personal care of owner Richard Polhemus.
