The staff is incredible, the classes are perfect for getting into your body, and did I mention the views from the studio are gorgeous?!? I highly recommend coming here for whatever yoga level you're at.....you'll walk out feeling like a new person!

(September 6, 2022, 3:23 pm)I've gone to gentle yoga a few times this summer -- and every time it is the highlight of my week! The studio and the gorgeous view are a perfect setting. The owners are lovely and the classes are reasonably priced. The instructor Rich leads a wonderfully restorative practice. I love that he plays the harmonium at the start and finish of class. Fully recommend!

I've been in classes with several different instructors and have been continually surprised by the caliber of talent each of them bring to the classes, all while maintaining the low key feel and calm I am looking to get out of the experience. As a very casual, but consistent yoga go-er, I appreciate how down to earth I find the owners and instructors. They all seem to really care and it often feels more like they're practicing alongside of you, rather than simply teaching. That dynamic really helps me to feel comfortable in the space and in my own practice--whatever level my practice happens to fall on that day.

(September 4, 2022, 11:39 am)The most beautiful space for a restorative yoga practice. I felt lighter the minute I stepped into the room filled with soft light and rolling mountain views. The instructors and staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive to everyone’s needs. The practice was guided by gentle movements and an invitation to find what feels good. I highly recommend Play Catskills for anyone looking to relax, stretch and reconnect with themselves.
