  Have to be honest here, I am an Ice Cream addict who would rather go to Hoffmans than Playa Bowl, but at the moment, my girlfriend are looking to drop weight before our cruise next month. For that reason, during a rather lengthy hike that included the Bradley Beach boardwalk, we decided to treat ourselves to something more nutritious and calorie conscious and found ourselves at Playa Bowl.
  
  Saturday afternoon. Beautiful late May beach day. The place was somewhat crowded but the line wasn't crazy long. Average price of their bowls seem to be in the $11-$12 range. We placed our order and waited perhaps 10 minutes for it to be prepared and served. My girlfriend ordered the Acai Bowl and I ordered the Coco Craze. There were a bunch of girls working crazy hard behind the counter and they deserve a huge amount of kudos for their efforts. There were no counter "attitudes" from the staff that were mentioned in other reviews.
  
  I scoffed a little at the price, but I must say that at least one gets a heaping serving within each bowl. Mine was packed with banana, mango, pineapple and granola. Despite the fact I would rather have been eating Ice Cream, I found myself thoroughly enjoying this healthy alternative and told my girlfriend that we would make this our refreshment stop every time we hiked through Belmar.

  What to say, been coming here since a young teen growing up around the shore when they were working out of a cart when I was 14, now going on to 30 it’s incredible to see what they created and how its grown. Was just in for a smoothie, saw Rob and he was as kind as he was 15 years or so ago, really great dude. Place is incredible as always, great atmosphere, great quality fruit, and so on. if your thinking about going then dont think about it, just go you’ll thank me later

  After all my visits to Belmar, I'm sad I didn't come here sooner. These are the best playa bowls I've ever had! The shop decor was awesome, such an awesome vibe, and you can see the ocean from the doorway or the patio out front. I didn't get to try any drinks, but the Nutella bowl and the peanut butter bowl were so so good. I actually passed on tacos to try a playa bowl after I saw my friend get one. Highly recommend!

  Super heart healthy and delicious! Be good to your health! I love the fun vibe, music, decor and local fresh fruit that is ripe and loaded with berries, and goodness! Beach and Playa Bowls! YAY! Oh they have awesome poke bowls and a ton of cool new drinks! Sharon S.
