(June 12, 2023, 3:51 pm)For most gym goers this facility is more than adequate. Can't complain at $10 a month, cancel any time. Clean locker room, large cardio platform, enough machines but not many free weights except for locked barbells and dumbells. Lots of older people especially morning hours and during the summer many high school kids who are allowed to enter for free.

I’m a mid-morning member - Mike and his crew are always very welcoming and attentive, and the gym is always immaculate with every machine working. Even the other members are polite, with plenty of regulars.
There are fancier Planet Fitness gym out there, but none are as clean and well-run.💪💪💪 -

(February 5, 2023, 3:31 pm)I had been told by my doctors that I needed to do some exercise to address osteoporosis and arthritis pain. I had been to physical therapy, but never joined a gym. I'm also over 60, so I thought I might feel awkward being new to all this.
Then I saw an advertisement for Planet Fitness costing only $10 per month, making it easy to afford. Frankly, I wasn't expecting much more than the basic treadmill for that cost, but my expectations were far exceeded when I joined the Morris Plains location.
I was welcomed by a staff that was friendly, warm and happy to help. I didn't know how to operate the equipment or what I should be doing. Thank goodness for Michelle who listened to what I wanted to get out of my training, made suggestions, set up each machine for me, showed me how to use it, and made sure I was doing it safely. She even made me a list to reference, but was right by my side if I needed help.
This place is clean, bright and colorful. Now I love coming here. I'm always comfortable, and everyone is so nice, helpful and welcoming, while I'm getting healthier! -
